Jeff Loose, glass artist and owner. In 2001, He received his BFA in sculpture design from the University of Georgia. Studying modern sculpture taught him primarily that any material and any technique can be used to communicate and express artistic ideas. After graduation, he continued his quest to learn new artistic techniques by studying glasswork.

In 2002, Jeff began training with local Atlanta glass artists George and Joan Goodyear of Art Glass Studio. After a two year mentorship, Jeff founded Studio Glass Company and opened his Studio in the North Atlanta city of Buford, Georgia. Glass, which was simply intended to be another material to sculpt with, had now become his dominant artistic interest and passion. While refining his technical expertise with traditional stained glass restoration work, he began to incorporate modern techniques of fused and kiln-formed glass into his personal art and architectural commission work. Currently, nearly all of his personal and commission work incorporates some element of kiln-formed or hand manipulated glass.

His experience with repairs, his reputation for the highest level of craftsmanship, and his knowledge and understanding of building construction led him to become Atlanta’s leader in stained glass conservation and restoration. Jeff has been a member of the Stained Glass Association of America since 2006.

Yuka Tadokoro, designer and studio manager. Her love for art led her to study painting at Tama Art University in Tokyo, where Yuka earned a degree in oil painting in 2006. After graduating from Tama Art University, Yuka focused her artistic study on stained glass, inspired primarily by an introductory class on glass art she attended while at University. Her newly discovered interest in stained glass led her to Montargie, France, where she studied traditional stained glass techniques at the Atelier Matuda under Master Hideo Matuda.

With new training and fresh inspiration, Yuka returned to Japan to begin her artistic career in glass. After working with several art glass companies in Tokyo, Yuka moved to the United States in 2011, and began working with Studio Glass Company in Atlanta, Georgia. Yuka currently works at Studio Glass Company as a designer and studio manager, where she assists in the designing of commissioned art glass projects as well as the restoration of historic stained glass.

Katie Wincek, glass padawan and website overlord. Katie graduated from Pensacola Christian College in 2014 with a BS in studio art. She is happy to be paid to learn how to art and does freelance illustration on the side.
