West Window

We designed this window for an interior wall between a kitchen and a home office. Our clients, the West family, wanted contemporary glasswork that would be fun to look at from both sides of the window since they would be spending time in both rooms.  They also wanted the window to create a visual interplay between the rooms, joining the two spaces.

We created this window using richly textured mouth-blown antique glasses for the background, punctuated by colorful fused glass shapes and cast glass pieces. The thick cast glass and fused glass elements create a highly sculpted surface that is fun to look at and look through.
